Associate Director, CGEE Marketing and Recruitment

Contact Lucy for: Brochure requests, advertising, website updates, and other marketing related items. Visiting students may also contact Lucy regarding applications and semester program questions. 

Biography: In her role as the Associate Director for CGEE Marketing and Recruitment, Lucy is responsible for connecting visiting students, faculty, and outside institutions to the transformational programming of Augsburg CGEE. Previous to joining CGEE in 2014, Lucy worked with incoming international students at both UW-Eau Claire, and the University of Minnesota. She coordinated and led experiential and intercultural short-term programs for international students in Minnesota; and previously managed the Host Family program for international students and the community in Eau Claire. Lucy’s professional interests lie with intercultural communication and exchange experiences, host family programming, and mentoring new and upcoming international educators. Lucy holds a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Minnesota, and a Bachelor’s of Business from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She has presented at the Wisconsin Association of International Educators (WAIE). Lucy enjoys all things international and intercultural and has been a host friend to students from China, Latvia, Germany, Malaysia, and France, in addition to her own travels to Greece, France, Turkey, and CGEE's sites in Nicaragua and Mexico, to name but a few!
