Guatemala Country Manager, Gerente Nacional Guatemala Biography: Gloria is a proud member of the Mayan Kakchiquel community. With a degree in Women's Studies and International Relations from Augsburg University and a minor in Political Science, she brings a rich academic background to her role. Gloria's journey in experiential education started at Augsburg when she participated in the CGEE semester program in Southern Africa in 2011. She also served as a student worker at CGEE. Since then, Gloria has coordinated special projects, led custom trips, and managed finances in Guatemala. She is also a skilled Spanish teacher and freelance interpreter. Outside of work, Gloria is deeply involved in community development. She serves on the International Hands in Service Project Salud y Paz Board of Directors in Guatemala. Her commitment to social justice remains unwavering as she embarks on a Master's degree program in Social Justice and Ethics at the Iliff School of Theology in the fall of 2023.
