Program Description:

Ancient Healing Practices and Modern Implications

DESCRIPTION:  This course helps students embody connections to nature that are fundamental in modern day holistic nursing and healing practices. Participants are immersed in energies present at many ancient sacred sites of England, including Tintagel, the Chalice Well Garden, Glastonbury Abbey, Stonehenge, and the healing waters of Bath. Through understanding sacred ceremony, students learn how to consciously merge science with spirit to connect with the healing energies of the cosmos. Students will also visit the Florence Nightingale Museum and tour St. Thomas’ Hospital, where Nightingale began her school of nursing in 1859.
