Program Associate

Biography: Marcus Carrigan (he/they) is the Program Associate for Career Services and Office Campus Studies. In his role with CGEE, Marcus works to support students through their post acceptance process as they prepare to study abroad and away. Marcus also works with students completing internships in Augsburg's Strommen Center for Meaningful Work. Marcus holds a Master's Degree in Higher Education Leadership from the University of San Diego, and a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from the University of Minnesota.

Marcus is passionate about experiential education. During his time at the University of Minnesota, Marcus studied for a semester in Florence, Italy. Marcus has since co-led study away trips with the University of Minnesota to Bali, facilitated camping trips with Outdoor Adventures at the University of San Diego, and advised students in the Center for Study Away at Macalester College.

Outside of his professional life, Marcus loves spending time outside with his partner and dog. Marcus also loves to be musical and run long distances.
